Women's Mountain Bike Weekend Newcastleton

At The FNY Collective, we are all about getting women onto bikes so, following our successful inaugural FNY on Tour to Wales, we think it's time to venture out again.

We are able to offer this weekend at a subsidised cost due to funding received from the Community Cycling Fund.

This is a great opportunity to come along and try out Mountain Biking (we can supply hire bikes if required) or perhaps to get back into.  We'll have a selection of Beginner and Intermediate suitable rides throughout the weekend.  We'll have qualified MTB leaders and coaches on hand all weekend to help you out too.

Places are limited and we expect this will fill up quickly.

This time we'll be based in Newcastleton to explore more of what the Scottish Borders has to offer outside of our usual Tweed Valley base.

What's included:

• 2 nights accomodation in shared cabins.  We will have a cluster of up to 6 cabins, with 4 rooms in each.  Bedrooms have a selection of room set up from 2 - 10 people per room.
• Access to a shared kitchen space
• Food included:
• Breakfast Saturday and Sunday (Cereal, Bread, Butter, Jam, Marmalade, Yoghurt, Fruit Juice, Tea/coffee)
•  Lunch Saturday (Rolls, Selection of Fillings, Crisps, Choc Biscuits, Fruit, Juice)
•  Catered dinner Saturday night
•  Catered lunch Sunday

We'll be riding both Saturday and Sunday on a selection of rides suitable to the group.  We can split the groups into Beginner and Intermediate if that works better.  Rides will be XC themed or using the local 7Stanes Trail Centre routes.

If you want to come along to this to try out Mountain biking as a newbie, we can arrange a bike for you too if you don't have your own!
